From the underground circuit, to headlining festivals, and making music for the big screen, Germany’s very own Alexander Ridha has done it all. Founder of Boys Noize Records, one-half of Dogs Blood alongside Skrillex, and Octave Minds with Chilly Gonzales, Ridha’s music arc has featured a string of successful album releases, big name remixes, and top selling 12” releases, firmly establishing himself as a pioneering electro force. Having produced his first soundtrack for the award winning movie Who Am I, and contributing music to Hollywood films such as Oliver Stone’s Snowden, and the recent remake of Ghost in the Shell, Ridha talks about his ever-growing involvement with film scoring, his experiences of working with big name producers, and how he evolved his sonic template to the world of the big screen.

In a rare one-on-one conversation during ADE, Boys Noize will reflect upon his approach to composition, while explaining how he translates his studio sound to the club, the festival stage, the silver screen and more.
