FIBER presents: Audiovisual Identity
12:00 - 12:45
De Brakke Grond (G2 Panel Room) | Nes 45, Amsterdam
The audiovisual live set is booming. So are the almost endless technological possibilities of creating AV sets and immense stage designs. Festival and concert experiences are expanded through transmedia storytelling across platforms and devices. Amidst all these developments the drive of musicians and image makers to create alternative and eccentric productions is what creates challenging visions.
FIBER invites a selection of artists and designers that will share their work and take on creating audiovisual identities. Using a variety of concepts and techniques these musicians, visual artists, filmmakers and designers express, strengthen or juxtapose the sonic space. What tools or media do they deploy to transmute complex and visceral narratives into artistic experiences? Expect short presentations and a Q&A with FIBER’s guests.
Audiovisual Identity is part of FIBER’s ongoing Coded Matter(s) series. FIBER is an Amsterdam based audiovisual art and electronic music platform that showcases new developments in digital culture.
