The Timetosser is a new kind of live performance tool for DJs and musicians.
It allows the user to repeat parts and even completely re-sequence the audio signal connected to its input.
Because this input can come from any source, it means the Timetosser integrates well in any situation. Use it in a DJ-setup, in the studio or on stage in a live set.
The novelty of the Timetosser lies in the way it is used: the user is not simply enabling an effect, but has to actively and skillfully play the instrument in order to yield good results. Although it needs some practice to master, the live-performance aspect of the Timetosser ultimately gives artists greater expression in their performances.
The creators of the Timetosser will have two prototypes available for anyone to try out at the event.
The Timetosser is currently still in development: the final feature set is open for discussion, so any feedback from Soundlab’s attendees will be greatly appreciated!
ADE Festival Hangout is accessible only with the ADE Card (€10,-). Limited capacity, make sure to come early.
