Workshop Sustainable Mainstage
12:00 - 12:45
De Brakke Grond (G4 Workshop Room) | Nes 45, Amsterdam
Beautifully designed main stages are hugely important for the atmosphere of many festivals. They’re a big trademark for festivals like Coachella, Defqon, Alfa Future People and Tomorrowland, amongst others. There’s a lot to gain: from the choice of materials to the afterlife of the materials when the festival ends. How can you design and build as sustainably as possible? And how can you make sure most materials are re-used and/or recycled after the festival? In this workshop, Emellie O’Brien, Earth Angel (US), who helped make the filmset of ’Spiderman’ as sustainably as possible, will share the sustainable set building in Hollywood tips and tricks in this workshop, alongside the lessons learnt with building main stages at festival.
In order to participate you need to have a Green ticket or a delegate pass, and also to register through this google form: http://bit.ly/ADEGreen_Workshop
