Bijbels Museum | Herengracht 366-368, Amsterdam
The earth began without form and void, like a dance floor in an underground club. Dark beats, violent storms, an unformed mass. Then there is that great interference: there be light! And a new world opens.
During ADE the Biblical Museum transforms to a (silent) disco where you will experience the (de)generation of heaven and earth. Wander through the museum and the garden, where peacefulness and oppression alternate. There should - and can - be danced.
"The (re)degenration of Heaven and Earth, a techno-interpretation of Genesis" is presented by theologian, writer and cultural entrepreneur Rikko Voorberg in collaboration with DJ Joost Dekker (Luisterbink), VJ Geerard Labeur, Spoken Word artist Rik Zutphen aka De Droominee and keyboard talent Matteo Mijderwijk.
