Bijbels Museum | Herengracht 366-368, Amsterdam
The earth began without form and void, like a dance floor in an underground club. Dark beats, violent storms, an unformed mass. Then there is that great interference: there be light! And a new world opens.
During ADE the Biblical Museum transforms to a (silent) disco where you will experience the (de)generation of heaven and earth. Wander through the museum and the garden, where peacefulness and oppression alternate. There should - and can - be danced.
"The (re)degeneration of Heaven and Earth, a techno-interpretation of Genesis" is presented by theologian, writer and cultural entrepreneur Rikko Voorberg. In collaboration with keyboard talent Matteo Mijderwijk and Electro Divina, a collective of Rik Zutphen (Spoken Word), Geerard Labeur (VJ) and Joost Dekker (DJ).
