The City of Amsterdam Challenges Festivals for Solutions (in Dutch)
10:00 - 11:30
De Brakke Grond (G4 Workshop Room) | Nes 45, Amsterdam
The City of Amsterdam has challenged all all festivals held in Amsterdam and entrepreneurs in the industry to come up with ideas for reducing waste that can be implemented as a genuine and viable business proposition. This initiative is just the first step in the council's aim to host only sustainable events in Amsterdam by the year 2020, and to support all the festivals with these innovations.
Come along and listen to innovative ideas around the theme of cost-effective waste management at events in Amsterdam, and how to make sustainable festivals possible. The five best ideas will be given seed money to help them develop the idea into a viable green business.
Do you think you have a good idea connected to waste?
Can it also be rolled out in different sectors?
Is it sustainable as well as viable?
And is it in line with the sustainable events policy 2020.
Do you think you have what it takes?
Send and email to firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, the name of your organisation and a brief introduction of your innovative idea. Then maybe we'll see you pitch at ADE Green.
