Special modular performances by: Mark Verbos, HRTL, Kodek & Jean Marcel Fricke
Leoš Hort alias HRTL is a top performer on modular synthesizers, a founder of Brno-based cassette record label Bükko Tapes and an active member of famous Bastl Instruments collective, which creates hand-made open-source music hardware.
Since the early 1990s, Mark Verbos has worked as an Electronic Musician, Recording Engineer/Producer and Synthesizer Tech/Designer. His live performances are legendary for being entirely inprovised using analog gear. His own synthesizer brand, Verbos Electronics is world renown for its asthetics and musical interfaces.
Kodek is perhaps a most progressive representative of the contemporary underground music scene in Latvia. Creating sounds in atypical genres, he operates with current actualities,
usually surprising bystanders with his overmodern attitude to the accepted standards. With his shows, he usually challenges listeners to think outside what is seen as ‘normal’ by the conservative sweep of culture.
Jean Marcel Fricke, born in Colombia and raised in Berlin. Jean Marcel is bringing Berlin-Techno to ADE by using Hardware produced in family-owned Synthfactory. Also known as MFB.
