In 2010 synth music lover Katja Ruge started her Party Series “Kann denn Liebe Synthie sein?” ”(Can Love Be Synth?)” in Hamburg. These nights got connected to a Photo Series that Katja Ruge did for the leading Electronic Music Magazine Groove in Germany. The photos of iconic Synthesizers such as Minimoog, Korg MS-20, Roland CR-78, Arp Odyssey, Roland TB-303 & 808, Roland Jupiter-8, Oscar & Oberheim OB-8 are already a Classic. Katja Ruge exhibited her synth photo series together with over 80 Analog Synthesizers at Kunsthaus Graz & did solo exhibitions in Berlin, A Synth Fest (St.Gallen), Fantastic Gondolas (Lech am Arlberg), SXSW Festival (Austin), Reeperbahnfestival (Hamburg) and just returned from Gottwood Festival 2016 (Wales). Published a book called Fotoreportage23- In search of Ian Curtis and in 2014 she had photo exhibitions at Golden Pudel Club & Baustelle Kalk E.V. with artists of the legendary British Music Label Warp. Over 100 Portraits of Woman in Music, such as Björk, Janelle Monae, Nina Kraviz are going „Ladyflash" photo exhibition at Reeperbahnfestival 2016.
