Roland returns to ADE Sound Lab
The Japanese manufacturer and distributor of iconic electronic musical instruments will once again be present at this year's ADE Sound Lab with its latest instruments and hardware.
Following recent announcements about New Order to take over AFAS Live and Celebrating 100 years of electronic music instruments, we continue with another addition to ADE Sound Lab, confirming that Roland will be back again at this year's ADE. The brand will be setting up an extensive gear testing area at De Brakke Grond in order to present their latest range of instruments.
Visitors will also be able to try out some of the brand's newest gear including the DJ Controllers,TR-8S the SH-01a, TR-08, D-05 and SE-02 boutique synthesisers and their newest Roland Cloud Plugins. Delegates can also chat with product experts and Roland artists, all of whom can answer your questions and guide you through the various flavours of Roland's music-making experience.
In addition to this, Roland will be running an interactive masterclass to discuss how Roland gear has been used in a range of creative situations. Last year the company invited artists including Dub FX, who explained his live setup, Nacho Marco discussing integrating studio hardware into a DJ set, A Guy Called Gerald and his live improvisation techniques, Egyptian Lover who hosted an 808 Masterclass, and appearances by Bloody Mary and Paula Temple.
