  • Get your Hangover cured at the NDSM Wharf on ADE's Sunday

ADE, Into The Woods, NDSM and Noorderlicht team up to organize a get-together for all festival visitors.

After a recent update on ADE Tech and news on the program of ADE Green, it is time to reveal an ADE Playground highlight on ADE's Sunday.

What to do on ADE's Sunday? Give your head some air in the laid back setting of the ADE Hangover at the NDSM wharf. Rejoice, revive, get away from the crowd and chill out. Enjoy the most varied dishes from local tastewizards, stroll over the market and drink craft beer while you hang out with awesome bands and DJ's. All of this in the robust surroundings of four tents, hot tubs, ambient fires, an overload of creativity and free entrance.

Amsterdam Dance Event, Into the Woods, NDSM and Noorderlicht Café team up on ADE's Sunday. The terrain around Noorderlicht will set the stage for the perfect hangout to revive from a long weekend and will be a highlight on your hungover Sunday. Live bands will make you feel alive again. The DJ's that took over the clubs by night will chill out by day. Relax your muscles and give them time to revive.

Stroll over the ADE market and spend your last hard-earned cash on a limited edition cassette of Scott Franka, or perhaps on a stuffed hedgehog? This is the place where local entrepreneurs offer unique music, (vintage) fashion, amazing art and local craft products.

Need a break from dancing during the week? Head over to De Brakke Grond (Nes 45) from Wednesday till Saturday, where the Festival Hangout is open from 10 am onwards. This venue is located at the very heart of Amsterdam just 10 minutes away from Amsterdam Central Station. On October 19, 20 and 21 (Thursday-Saturday) the Hangout will be host to Sound Lab . The Sound Lab program is one of the most influential and consistently exciting parts of ADE, with demos, workshops, masterclasses, presentations of new and conceptual instruments, audio-visual experiences, modular synth setups and live performances.

By purchasing the ADE Card (€ 10), visitors can experience the very newest equipment from leading music brands at the Gear Test Lab and attend ADE MusicTalks: daily in-depth interviews with music legends such as DVS1, Gary Numan, Surgeon & Lady Starlight, Tiga & Soulwax, Kiasmos and many more. Topics that will be discussed vary from ‘How I Play Live’  to ‘The Evolution of my Sound’.
