This fall Converse will be bringing its music platform, Converse Rubber Tracks, to the ADE Playground for the first time. With their partners Indaba Music, Converse will present the Rubber Tracks Sample Library alongside their new products and exclusive tracks from music producers Machinedrum and Midland. London based DJ/Producer Midland and North Carolina-born producer Machinedrum will lead the panel discussion examining the art of sampling and its central role in modern music production.
Following the panel, CRT and their local partner, Red Light Radio, will host an intimate CRT Live performance featuring Machinedrum and his selection of local artist from the CRT studio in Amsterdam.
Converse created the Converse Rubber Tracks Sample Library to support independent music producers around the world. The online library continues to expand with over 20,000 one shots, loops and stems recorded at the Rubber Tracks studios by some of the top musicians in the world. The library provides a unique resource for all DJ’s and producers at no cost. They have already been working with Amsterdam’s Tom Trago, 80s legend Das Ding and the Beesmunt Soundsystem boys to create tracks using samples from the library and also to contribute their own samples for all to use.
