Festival Program Intern

Period: May until October 2024


Working hours: 40 hours per week

The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the most important conference for electronic dance music, as well the world's biggest club festival. The event takes place in October and attracts more than 400.000 visitors from all over the world. Besides being the number one event for the EDM-industry, ADE also constitutes a solid base for the industry's future generation(s). With more than 1000 events in five days, hosted in some +200 locations, Amsterdam is turned into the global center of electronic music every year.

The Internship:

Are you passionate about giving electronic music and dance culture a special place within ADE by promoting art, culture, and heritage?
Are you a student who can maintain clarity and organization during busy times? Then we are looking for you!
ADE's Festival department is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated intern.
In this role, you will ensure that all festival information is processed accurately and efficiently, serving as a liaison between ADE, event organizers, and the Amsterdam municipality.

You:

+ Have affinity with the electronic dance industry and associated genres

+ Have affinity with creative and cultural life (in Amsterdam);

+ Are able to be flexible and you are creative in finding solutions

+ Are punctual and independent

+ Know the trends and developments that are going on within the music industry

+ Always know how to keep an overview

+ Are currently following a course of at least Higher Professional Education (HBO) level

+ Have a professional work attitude

+ Have good understanding of Dutch and good communication skills in English, both in speech and writing
