Intern Festival & Cultural Program

During ADE, approximately 500 festival-related events take place where the festival department is the spider in the web in the coordination of all these different parties and events that work with ADE and are part of the ADE festival program. In addition, the cultural program is an important pillar of ADE, within which more than a hundred events take place that vary from unique performances in special places, exhibitions around dance culture, an extensive film and documentary program, discussions, talks and art installations.

Are you a student who can create and maintain an overview during busy times? Do you like social media and would you like to learn how you can deploy and use the different channels (Facebook, ADE Website, Instagram, LinkedIn) to promote and highlight the ADE festival program? Do you want to dedicate yourself to giving art, culture and heritage around electronic music and dance a special place within ADE? Are you the link between marketing, production, ticketing and event organizers and do you ensure that all correct information is properly processed? Then we are looking for you! For the Festival department, ADE is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated intern.

Period: May until October 2021 (in consultation)
Working hours: 40 hours per week


You:

+ Have affinity with the electronic dance industry and associated genres

+ Have affinity with creative and cultural life (in Amsterdam);

+ Are able to be flexible and you are creative in finding solutions

+ Are punctual and independent

+ Know the trends and developments that are going on within the music industry

+ Always know how to keep an overview

+ Are currently following a course of at least Higher Professional Education (HBO) level

+ Have a professional work attitude

+ Have good understanding of Dutch and good communication skills in English, both in speech and writing
