A first glimpse at ADE Pro's main themes for 2020:

Driven and inspired by the urgent need to rethink, refine and rebuild the global music industry, the 2020 edition of ADE Pro will be focused on three main themes. Diversity, and how to encourage it and help it to grow across the entertainment industry will be one of the topics under the spotlight, alongside how to guarantee and protect equality of opportunity for anyone wishing to work in that industry.

Following the catastrophic and still unfolding impact on every aspect of the music industry, we will also be taking a comprehensive look at the sorts of New Opportunities for Labels and Artists that are being brought about by both the never-ending advance of technology, and the rationalisation of previously entrenched practices that the pandemic has exposed as expendable. The Elephant In The Room will be dissecting the pressurised situation that publishers and lawyers often have to confront when hit records that were created by a team of writers also involve a big-name DJ who, of course, wants a share of the IP even though she or he perhaps didn’t add much to the song.

One thing that is undeniable fundamental to the music industry is that business always continues. In that spirit we’ll be looking at The Future of Merchandising and Fan Engagement. This topic focusses on new, sophisticated manufacturing processes for highly personalised merchandising, that can introduce a whole new generation of tribal identifiers, and perhaps even new styles of fandom. Speakers from the music industry will be joined by branding and marketing industry experts with a very different and highly sophisticated perspective.

Electronic music gathers here. And now, for the first time, we are offering a comprehensive networking facility and inspiration platform throughout the year.

Networking has been at the heart of the ADE experience since its earliest days, and even though many of you will not be in the city this October, it’s a tradition we are determined to continue, expand and improve. In order to do this, we’ve created an efficient and dedicated social networking platform based around our database of industry professionals from every imaginable music sector and territory, and in order that Pass holders get the maximum from the opportunities that this closed off community represents, it will operate all year round, taking global networking to a whole new level.

The all-new ADE Pro networking platform will also feature regular, strategically focused networking events with some of the biggest names and brands in the industry, as well as one-off sessions on hot-button topics surrounding the ADE Pro conference program throughout the whole year. This will empower users and guarantee access to the opportunities to grow your business and expand your profitability in new and innovative ways. Connect with fellow professionals through the home page feed or via direct messaging, and on top of that, we’ve also made sure that you can find anyone and everyone you might need through a revamped and refined search engine for companies and people.

ADE 2020's offer will enable the global electronic music industry to come together in new, time efficient and rewarding ways.
