Nan Goldin's work is an intimate exploration of the wild nightlife, showcasing her bohemian friends with a raw tenderness that is truly unique. Through her lens, she captures snapshots of intimacy and coupling, the everyday and the extravagant parties, and the complex dance between autonomy and dependency.
In the largest gallery of the Stedelijk, Nan Goldin presents in the exhibition This Will Not End Well slideshows consisting of thousands of her vulnerable and personal photos in six unique buildings, supported by voice-overs and music.

Goldin's lens is unflinching, revealing both the seductive and destructive aspects of sex and drugs, as well as the profound joys and sorrows of intimate relationships and friendships. Her influence extends far beyond the art world; she has left an indelible mark on fashion and advertising photography. She makes social issues visible and negotiable, and inspires new generations with its raw, unapologetic honesty.

ADE PRO
Join us at the Felix Meritis for the full ADE Pro programme. The conference is set to be extended by an additional day, taking place from ADE Wednesday to Saturday. Just down the road the prestigious Andaz Amsterdam by Hyatt Hotels is transformed to a buzzing network & business hub from Wednesday to Friday.
ADE LAB
ADE Lab returns with a four-day programme from ADE Wednesday to Saturday at the Brakke grond and many more venues around the Amsterdam Nes area.
We do not sell ADE Conference only or Day Passes. The only way to get access to the ADE Pro Conference is the ADE Pro Pass.
Tickets for the specialist sessions and ADE Lab can be found on the ticket page.
Our conferences are accessible for all ages in general. Do note that when alcoholic beverages are served, access can be denied.
