ADE Festival

Practical information

This year’s ADE festival is set to take place as planned from 13th-17th of October. As the current Dutch Covid measurement mandate; all clubs, venues, and indoor events will have to be closed after midnight. This means that all ADE events have been rescheduled to daytime events between 06:00 and 00:00 CET.

IMPORTANT COVID INFORMATION

ADE aims to ensure the health and safety of all our visitors. We work in close collaboration with the municipality of Amsterdam to present the best possible ADE experience while ensuring public health guidelines set by the RIVM and Dutch government.

Due to Dutch legislation, we will need to have COVID-health-check prior to every official ADE Festival event. There are 3 forms of COVID certificates which will allow you acces:

1. Proof of vaccination

Full vaccination for COVID-19, with a vaccine authorised by the European Medicines Agency (EMA), will allow you access when the Dutch CoronaCheck Scanner can verify the certificate.

For Dutch/European visitors;

All visitors from within Europe are provided access by using the Digital Covid Certificate (DCC), as long as they meet the Dutch travel requirements (wijsopreis.nl). Please check prior to your visit if you can convert the QR code of your Corona app into an EU Digital Covid Certificate (DCC) vaccination QR code! Click here for more info regarding COVID certificates. The EU DCC vaccination QR code will be scanned at the entrance of each event/venue.

For visitors from the UK and outside of Europe;

Unfortunately, the Dutch CoronaCheck Scanner cannot scan certificates from outside of Europe. This means that it is required for you to get tested via ‘Testen voor Toegang’ (testenvoortoegang.org) in order to be provided access. This includes individuals who have been fully vaccinated. The test result will be granted with a QR-code and needs to be uploaded in the CoronaCheck-App or can be printed as a paper COVID Certificate from CoronaCheck.nl.

For print:

- Make sure to click through "What certificate do you want to make?" > A test certificate
- "Where have you been tested?" > Other test location
- "Retrieve test result" > Enter your retrieval code. The test location sent it to you
- A verification code is sent to the phone number you entered when making your appointment
- Check your results
- Make certificate
- Open PFD & print your certificate

This print is now valid for the next 24 hours. Please find frequently asked questions on CoronaCheck.nl. You can also send an email to helpdesk@coronacheck.nl or reach them (for free) on 0800-1421.

2. Proof of recovery

Proof that you recovered from COVID-19 less than 6 months ago. Likewise the "proof of vaccination" this need to be converted into a scannable proof (only possible with Dutch DigiD).

3. Negative test result

Visitors that do not have a DCC vaccination-QR will need to be tested through ‘Testen voor Toegang’ in order to receive a valid COVID certificates.

Make sure to schedule a test as soon as possible! Testing capacity is being scaled up during ADE week on a daily basis, therefore make sure to check different dates and/or times. Please be aware that no access will be granted without a QR code. It can take up to 2 hours before you receive your QR-code, so make sure to test in time. Also don’t forget to bring your ID as we have to verify it’s you.

Currently, the tests are compensated by the Dutch government meaning that there are no costs involved. The test result is valid for 24 hours. To schedule an appointment or to get more info go to the website of ‘Testen voor Toegang’.
