Akai Denon Rane

Akai Professional entered the electronic music industry in 35 years ago, and have played a seminal role in the hundred year history of electronic music instruments through the introduction of a range of legendary beat machines. Designed by the fabled Roger Linn in 1988, Akai’s MPC has forever changed the way modern music is created by enabling digital samples to become the basis for beat-making and musical composition. You can get hands-on with their newest product line-up, including the MPC series and Force at their stall.

Born in 1981, Rane have strived to set the bar for product reliability, durability and a solid feature set for DJs. At Sound Lab they will showcase a broad range of their machines, with two of their latest innovations taking the limelight: the tonearm and needle-less motorised control turntable Rane TWELVE, and the advanced control and performance mixer Rane SEVENTY-TWO.
