After a refreshing renovation and a name change, Pacific - situated at the Westergas - is amidst its preparations for this year's ADE. They will be moving away from their punk and rock-n-roll roots and have more focus on hiphop, jazz, funk, house, and disco.

I'm A House Gangster will kick things off on ADE Thursday, which sees house don DJ Sneak invite a range of international DJs with the likes of Amine Edge & DANCE, Phil Weeks, Todd Terry and more to accompany him in the booth. On Friday the club will introduce you to the sounds of the far east, as Yallah! Yallah! guides you eastbound with a trip through music from the Arabic world. You can expect everything from Moroccan hip hop to Libanese dabke, while Zenobia showcases its up-tempo blend of electronics during his set.

Saturday will be a mixed bag of brass and beats, as The Valvetronic Brassband concocts a melange of dance and hip hop during a live performance filled with drums, dancing and lots of warm sounds, closing off the venue's program.

The iconic Westergas plays host to more ADE events, which take place in Radio Radio, WesterUnie and the Gashouder with Awakenings.
