The techno music pioneer will take on Tolhuistuin on Wednesday October 16th.
After recent festival announcements about New Order and Rüfüs Du Sol we continue with more festival news, as techno pioneer Derrick May returns to ADE to launch a new series of Hi-Tek-Soul nights. Rising to the challenge of the current clubbing climate with a desire to give new opportunities to fresh talent, May takes over curatorial responsibility by initiating a series of back to basics techno nights.
Calling on his friends and established artists to join him behind the decks at classic clubs, each event will feature a mixture of electronic music nobility billed alongside a new wave of artists. For this ADE special May is joined by Marco Faraone. The Italian techno artist and producer is no stranger to ADE's festival and conference, whether it performing at Awakenings or taking part in the ADE Sound Lab opening event in 2017 alongside Richie Hawtin and KiNK.
Tolhuistuin, also known as Paradiso Noord, located in Amsterdam Noord, just accross from Central Station. During previous ADE editions the venue played host to wide range of events and artists genres including Bicep, Ganz, SOPHIE, Soulwax, The Chainsmokers, Tiga and many more.
