Frenna is one of the most successful artists in the Dutch urban music scene. He is the frontman of The Hague hit sensation SFB, played a major part in the groundbreaking Dutch hip-hop project New Wave and has won the Edison Popprijs 2019 for best hip-hop album as a solo artist. Frenna released chart-topping solo albums and scored record-breaking hits with artists like Ronnie Flex, Lil Kleine, Emms, Jonna Fraser and Bizzey. He is taking steps to bring his unique sound and hit writing ability abroad with releases in English.
At ADE Beats Frenna will discuss how he developed as artist and songwriter - how he started out in his hometown The Hague and conquered the national urban scene. He will share studio stories behind his biggest hits and collaborations. And will talk about his international ambitions as artist and writer and his future ambitions in the music industry.
ADE Beats presents international keynote speakers, unique networking sessions, inspiring music talks, master classes, business cases, and the latest on rising hip-hop, bass and beats markets, business opportunities and emerging trends. This conference takes place at Melkweg on Friday, October 18th.
The Melkweg is a music venue and cultural center, housed in a former milk factory. It is located on the Lijnbaansgracht, near the Leidseplein - one of the prime nightlife squares of Amsterdam. During previous ADE editions, the venue played host to a wide range of events and artists including Colin Benders, Dave Clarke, Eefje de Visser, Nicky Romero and Rebekah.
