If you want insight into the modern music world, Andy Ng is the man you want to talk to. We'd be hard pressed to find anyone better placed to break down the way that music is disseminated and heard in China. Given that this is one of the fastest-developing markets in the world, to understand what happens in China, is key to understanding the potential of new income streams worldwide.

Having graduated from the University of Southern California in 1996, Andy went on to work for the likes of Nokia, AOL, PCCW Ltd and his alma mater USC, before joining China's mighty Tencent Music Entertainment (TME) in 2011. In his time there he has been responsible for copyright management and digital music marketing, for overseeing all business affairs in global licensing, and for marketing and promo for the whole group. Now as Group Vice President of TME, Andy has unparalleled insight into publishing, the streaming market and licensing deals in China.
