10 reasons to get the ADE Card

To encounter ADE’s daytime program in full force, the ADE Card is a must have. It will allow you to visit many cultural events, gives you access and special discounts, and is valid the full five days.

Following up on recent news about De Staat to perform at ADE and Asia Konnekt we continue with the ADE Card and its benefits.

ADE Zen Space
ADE Zen Space, is a place where you can sleep, unwind and find your inner balance. The ADE Card grants you access to this brand new program addition located in the 17th century De Waalse Kerk. Come lie down and wander off under The Lightscape, a central light- and sound installation by Studio Koen Steger, or get a 10 minute guided meditation of spatial light and sound in Ademruimte by Calmspaces, and what about joining a morning yoga session by Equal Yoga, to start your day balanced.

ADE Film Program
The ADE Card provides you also free-entry to the ADE film program at De Balie, Eye Film Museum, Lab111, Melkweg and Paradiso, which are showing documentaries on activists that stand at the frontline of LGBTQ+ activism in Georgia and films featuring A Tribe Called Quest and Bruce Lee. In addition there is the classic Metropolis with a live electric score plus an open-hearted talk with Dutch eclectic producer trio Kraak & Smaak after the screening of Beats.

ADE Sound Lab Gear Testing
The ADE Sound Lab Gear Test areas at the Compagnietheater and De Brakke Grond are open to ADE Card Holders, where you can find masterclasses, workshops and panels with expert DJs and producers from brands like Ableton, Moog, Pioneer DJ and many more. With your card you are also able to get discounts on selected gear.

Exhibitions & Performances
The ADE Card grants access to Max Cooper's Emergence immersive audio-visual experience or Bogomir Doringer's latest work at Kunstfort and a discount to Aether, a work by artists Boris Acket, Nick Verstand and Salvador Breed at Noorderkerk.

Pop-ups and in-stores
The are in-stores all over Amsterdam, find them here, and if they're free the ADE Card might give you extras such as discounts or a much-needed cup of coffee. Sometimes RSVP is required. Browse the events and bump into your favorite artists while digging records, or looking for merch.

Access to MoMI: The Mini-Museum of Modern Instruments
ADE Card holders get free access to the MoMI, a pop-up museum where you will find some of the most important and recognizable instruments in music history, curated by Arp Frique. The museum is open from Wednesday 7 pm to Saturday 8 pm.

Access to talks and workshop
The ADE Card grants access to talks all over Amsterdam, for example IHLIA and Waxpoetics. ADE Card holders can also queue up at ADE Sound Lab in De Brakke Grond and Compagnietheater to access the MusicTalks, sessions and more workshops, depending on if there are places left. Access will be granted 10 minutes before the event. Get the ADE Sound Lab ticket if you want access to the complete ADE Sound Lab program.

Discount on selected ADE Merchandise
With the ADE Card you will receive a 10% discount on all 2019 FRESHCOTTON x ADE tees and a 20% discount on the Alpine x ADE Earplugs during ADE, available at Melkweg Expo, Brakke Grond and Lil'Amsterdam.

Deezer Barbershop
French streaming platform Deezer offers ADE Card holders a chance for a free haircut while listening to unreleased albums from international artists.

Discount on selected tickets
The ADE Card gives you a discount on tickets for multiple events including Aether, Body Drop and much more. Browse the program and keep an eye out for announcements throughout the ADE week.

*Please note: all ADE Card advantages are included in the ADE Pass and ADE Conference Pass. It is not necessary to purchase an ADE Card.
