First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your patience and continued support. The past four months have been one of the most unprecedented and challenging times in ADE’s history. During this period, we have closely followed each new development of the COVID-19 virus and the consequent countermeasures, while choosing to stay focused on the possibilities for our 2020 edition rather than this year’s limitations. We are now able to give you an update on the current status of ADE 2020 and we will keep you informed on new developments in the coming period.

What does this mean for you?

ADE has always been a place to connect, inspire, dance and share experiences, and we are continuously pouring our efforts into providing a platform that offers these ingredients:

ADE Conference will take place in an online-first format, combining an extended digital program with limited physical networking elements:

As travel to Amsterdam is limited for most of the broader international B2B audience, our 2020 conference program will take place as an online-focused format. As always, we will combine panels, masterclasses and interactive Q&As with an extensive networking platform that enables ADE delegates to connect and meet up, both virtually as well as in real life. Details about the conference program and networking possibilities will follow in the coming weeks, so make sure to register in advance to be the first to get our updates.

The shape of ADE Festival is still uncertain at this point, but we aim to deliver the best possible ADE experience while respecting public health and government guidelines:
As the interpretations and consequences of the countermeasures by the Dutch government are still unclear for a city-wide event such as ADE, the festival’s exact shape is currently uncertain. Clearly, the normal size and scope of the festival make it seriously challenging to ensure everyone’s health and safety, and so we are continuously reevaluating the situation in close cooperation with the government. For now, we remain committed to offer you a suitable and responsible solution and we will update you on this as soon as possible.


What does this mean for the ADE Pro pass? Needless to say, an evolving format also calls for an update of ADE's ticket value. Consequently, ADE 2020 will be accessible through a new offer which aims to bring together industry professionals, aspiring entrepreneurs, creative talents and the many electronic music enthusiasts around the world, in a safe and socially responsible way.

Your ADE Pro Pass will provide free access to both ADE 2020’s digital program as well as full access to our 2021 edition. As a big thank you, several additional perks and exclusive offers will be available to you throughout the coming year.

For all ADE Pro Passes bought before July 23rd 2020, you are able to re-assign your ticket to a colleague or friend for free up until one month prior to ADE 2021.

Additionally, you can apply for a refund until September 1st 2021. Please note that we do charge €25,- service costs, as stated in our terms & conditions.

Amsterdam Dance Event 2021 will be taking place in October 2021. Exact dates will be confirmed in due course.

Even though travel by flight is currently not prohibited, we do not encourage global travel to Amsterdam during ADE if the situation does not drastically improve leading up to October. Our team is creating an online-first format to ensure everyone can enjoy the event without the risk of spreading the COVID-19 virus.

If you are planning to visit Amsterdam, please make sure to check the Dutch guidelines beforehand.

ADE is not responsible for reimbursing you for your hotel and flights. We recommend reaching out to the hotel or airline (directly) to cancel your reservation and request a refund.
