This 28 years old bombshell called 'Odette' originates from Bergen (near Amsterdam). For the relatively short time she's been playing her tunes, she already has an impressive record to say the least!
When she started out playing, she wanted to give the audience what they wanted and let them enjoy their night with the best tunes possible to make them go all out.
Early on in 2013, Odette has won the 'KWEEKVIJVER' contest of well-known Dutch Dj Michel de Heij, in which she discovered that she had a talent for dj-ing at such a young age!
Few years later, she has already been playing at festivals around the country such as Geheime Liefde, Woodlands festival (TechLab), but also had some awesome gigs in the bigger clubs around Amsterdam such as Pand 48, Patronaat and Club Lux. She's also had gigs abroad, such as Dancefair Benimussa Park in Ibiza and Liverpool.
she had a residency at The Butcher in Amsterdam and a 2nd residency at Mr. Porter in Amsterdam aswell, playing alongside the biggest dj's around like Juan Sanchez (FORMAT) and Ille Bitch (Studio80) it's her turn to get recognised by the bigger audience.
She tries to channel her positive energy through deep melodies and grooves, from minimal Techno to underground House and Techno, as long as it sounds right and fits the venue.
At the moment she's continuously in the studio honing her skills on the Maschine from Native Instruments and working with Ableton to get her creative juices flowing, expect some big bombs hitting the dancefloors real soon! She’s also working on a new liveset..
She has had a collaboration with Navar from Friesland. They joined forces with the track ‘The slowbeq Paragraph’ and its been released at Proton label. Guy J made a top 10 at the beatport charge for the Lost&Found label and chose ‘ The Slowbeq Paragraph’ at number 9!
In the beginning of 2017, Odette released on labels such as Tip Tap, Saint&Don’t and the Italian label Bauns. Big artists like Markantonio plays her tracks.
Her first album is released in the summer of 2018 on Deep Tech Records! This album is a mix of groovy, clubfriendly tunes that can be enjoyed at all times of the day!
