Mitch de Klein
Dutchman Mitch de Klein (born 16th of December 1990) is a Techno DJ & producer from Utrecht. Mitch has developed a professional balance between DJ-ing and producing his own music and that is an important part of his DJ-sets. You'll never hear him play the same set twice and you won't be able to name all the tracks he's playing. By creating and playing his own music he makes sure every performance is unique in it's own way.
When he started out producing, Mitch de Klein caught the eye of Laidback Luke, who called him ‘A boy to watch in the future’. Although Mitch made a different genre than Luke was playing at that time, he joined his publishing agency Next Era Publishing and released the first Techno track on Mixmash. Not long after, he was introduced to Gina Turner, which resulted into a successful collaboration. 'Bliss ended up being signed at Armada Music and ‘Beatbox’ (signed at Gina’s label) has been played at Sensation White multiple times by Prok & Fitch. Gina introduced Mitch to Junior Sanchez and later on he signed his track ‘Drum’ to his label ‘Brobot’. 'Drum' entered the Top 10 on Buzzchart and got premiered during Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on BBC Radio 1! It also gained support from Techno legend Umek!
In 2015, Mitch has been focusing on improving his sound and chose not to release anything that year. The result: a bunch of new tracks ready to hit the dance floors. In May 2016 he released an EP on Audiojah and more will follow very soon on labels such as Wall Music, Funk’ N Deep, Distortus and more…
Mitch has performed not only in the Netherlands, but also in Germany (Düsseldorf), France (Paris) and Turkey (Antalya).
