25 year old Scottish musician, producer and DJ Kerr Slaven has been pushing creative limits in the studio over the past four years. Known to the public as "KC Lights" he joined Herve's 'Cheap Thrills' imprint in 2012 and began experimenting with his production style. With an impressive musical background, including an honours degree in music and various awards in solo saxophone performance, together with a fiery ambition, KC Lights is starting to make a name for himself with his fresh, melodic and driving sound.
The young Scottish talent caused quite a stir in 2015 with successes such as Lose It All, racking up over 250k plays across the Internet with support from the likes of Rudimental as well as what has become a solid Ibiza 2015 anthem "No No No". Garnering an impressive tally of radio 1 plays, No No No recieved a heavy backing from Annie Mac, who closed her Sonar and TITP sets with the number and included it in her famous AMP 2015 compilation.
There will be no slowing down in 2016 for KC Lights as he has already kicked things off with club hit 'Daylight', a collaboration with Mike Mago, out on Spinnin Records as well as his first EP of the year "Together/Side To Side".
KC Lights is proving himself to be one of the most exciting rising talents on the dance scene. Read more
