Karan Third Eye

Karan ThirdEye has been one of the pioneers of the Indian electronic movement since the late 90’s. Being born into a family of musicians he was drawn towards music from a young age picking up instrumental guitar and songwriting. However it wasn’t until he was 13 years old and on vacation in Goa till he discovered the hypnotic and addictive sound of electronic beats.

Soon he was spending hours discovering music in this new genre which soon became a passion for him. This passion grew into a love for the music and the performance and in 2001 he Launched the first ever Indian Electronic Record label called Third Eye Records. The Original sound that Karan used to play and promote was more psychedelic inspired with Indian spiritual elements in it. However as time moved on his appreciation of sound kept evolving.

In 2012 Karan was one of the founding members and partners in the Soma Project Goa. Which was promoting a new age techno sound on the beaches of Goa. With elements of deep house , tech house and techno leading the way for a new generation to enjoy open air parties with pulsating beats. The Soma influence as Karan likes to call it has played a major Role in the style he likes to play today, he searches for deepsexy and hypnotic beats with techno influences that pull audiences into the performance. He’s also known to be one of the most energetic Djs behind the console and earned the title of Mr. Sexytime ;) This new style of Karans has made him become one of the premier and in demand Djs in India playing at most fashionable clubs and parties including being the closing Dj For the GQ Men of the year awards. He also won the VH1 Myfavdj award in 2012 and In turn Soma project has also been named to the prestigious Conde Naste Traveller Gold Standard list for 2014.
