Jay Rox

With over 10 years of on stage experience Jay Rox clearly knows his way behind the decks. In the past he convinced jurors like a.o: Afrojack, Bingo Players and Dirtcaps with his mixing skills and stage performance. Winning several (national) DJ contests. Some of the festivals he performed at: Citymoves, Intents Festival, Freshtival, Famara Festival (Esp) and Attraction. Sharing mainstages with DJ's as Armin van Buuren, Sister Bliss (Faithless), Afrojack, Quintino, Don Diablo, Roog, just to name a few. Nowadays he is resident DJ at several venues in the Netherlands and also at the trendy house concepts: Mixed up Music and HIP | House in Progress. Performing not only in the Netherlands but throughout Europe. This year he even went to the United States to perform at the Miami Music Week. His monthly podcast airs on US radiostations: EOSfm (Miami) and Listen2House (Pacific coast).

It was only about 4 years ago when he got (seriously) involved in producing. Spending all of his spare time in the studio. The year 2012 has been very successful. Signing ‘Euphoria' to (Laidback Luke's) Mixmash records This collaboration with Justin Strikes got labeled as "The Ones To Watch" on the similar EP. ‘It's all about the brand new trend-setting, extremely hot and talented names to watch out for!'. Being a great recognition for all his hard work in the studio.

His remix of ‘Hashtag' (Grapevine Grooves) by Chimney State and Gioberto was described as "Progressive house at it's best". "Let yourself go" is the title of a catchy and uplifting house track released on PM Records, another collaboration with Justin Strikes. With amazing vocals by the talented Phillip. This track also got national airplay in the Powermix of Radio 538. He even made an acoustic version of it showing his musical versitality. His latest bombshell is a collaboration with Bassanova & Moradzo & Vande. Their track called ‘Lucifer’ got massive support and is lighting up dancefloors all over the world now as they are giving it away for free on Soundcloud. Their other collab 'Shit Zu' will be released the next month (Black hole records), as well as several Jay Rox remixes. His tracks got support by: Laidback Luke, Sidney Samson, Dyro, just to name a few.

Currently he is working on some great new musical projects. Besides solo productions also collaborations with other (international) artists. Be sure to check his work on Soundcloud. And don't forget to follow him on Twitter or Facebook for all the latest news and updates.
