David Moreno

David Moreno is a perfect example of how an individual is formed not just by his birthplace, but also by where he consolidates his career. In this case, Moreno ́s Catalan roots combined with his love of all things Ibicenco, made Ibiza the ideal location for the DJ/Producer to launch his musical journey, helping him develop a long- lasting career full of a multitude of influences and references.

His deep-rooted love of electronic music and the clubbing scene soon led to his taking over the White Island airwaves with his much acclaimed radio programme- Ibiza Dance- on Ibiza Global Radio. From there, it was a natural progression with Moreno booked for some of the most famous DJ cabins in the world- Space, Privilege, Amnesia and Pacha amongst them.

Over the years, David Moreno has held the title of Space Resident DJ, and has toured internationally under that banner, bringing the essence, energy and Ibiza sound around the planet. Amongst career highlights, Moreno cites his appearances at Dance Valley in Amsterdam or his regular sets at Carl Cox ́s revolution at Space Ibiza. Without doubt, he is capable of filling any venue with his energy and emotion; his particular sound and style maintaining a quality and constancy over the years that has earned him the reputation as one of the EDM sceneís most relevant DJs.

Having scooped a number of nominations and awards over the years from the industryís most influential magazines- DJ Magazine, DeeJay Spain, DJ One- for Best Ibiza DJ, Best Party (“La Vaca”) and Best Radio Show (Ibiza Dance), Moreno is also well-known for his productions has worked alongside some of the best in the business including Juanjo Tur, Serge Souque (Electronic Pirates), Joshua Turnez and Muriel Fowler. He has also collaborated on various compilations, amongst them “Ibiza World Tour” with Jonathan Ulysses, “Space Ibiza Dance” with Jose de Divina, “Ibiza Dance 07@ibizaglobalradio” together with his brother, Toni Moreno, and “Ibiza Global Radio 2010 Summer Feelings”. In 2012, again through the medium of Ibiza Global Radio, Moreno released the first production together with Toni Moreno, and the pianist Chelu Garcia, on the record label of the same broadcasting station, Ibiza Global Records.

David Moreno continues to broadcast his internationally renowned radio show on the White Islandís most popular station, with recent sessions from DJs including Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola, Steve Lawler, Luciano, Pascal Feos, Moby, Danny Tenaglia, Marc Antona, DJ T, Cesar de Melero, Michel Cleis, Tuccillo, Sasha, Mauro Picotto, Paco Osuna, Barem, and many, many, more. David Moreno is, without a shadow of a doubt, one of the most important references of the Ibiza sound, past and present.
