Remixer to the stars, from Bruno Mars to Armin van Buuren, this year saw US wunderkind Audien also do an official remix of the late Michael Jackson.
“It was a dream come true,” Audien says, adding that it was “amazing to hear that my remix of Bastille's 'Pompeii’ had become the most played track at Electric Daisy Carnival and Coachella”.
Audien also played around the globe in 2014 and performed for the first time in India and Mexico. He celebrated his 22nd birthday with a gig at Create in Los Angeles, “a night I’ll always remember” and also rates the Gorge Amphitheatre and the Paradiso festival outside Seattle “because of the crowd and venue”.
Despite his globetrotting schedule, he remains true to his roots, even though Connecticut isn't a hub like London or Berlin. “I’m proud of Connecticut! I still have an apartment and studio there and don’t see that changing in the near future,” he explains. Read more
