Alex van Alff
Alex van Alff is well know for his signature House sound that was highly influenced by the House sound from the end of the 80ties, beginning of the 90ties when House music started the emerge in Holland. Alex started out as a dj in 1991 and picked up producing also and signing his first EP in 1994.
After releasing several Ep's Alex got infected by the filter-house sound of mid/end 90ties. This was a perfect chance to blend in his stabby, groovy sound he already developed.
That resulted in numerous ep's and a big hit track called ‘Phunkin’ getting support from all the big guns in the industry at that time, creating chances to work with other producers/Dj’s and labels.
Alex worked together with big boss Olav Basoski, releasing on Swedish ‘godfather of house’ Stonebridge’s label Stoney Boy, did collabs with Syke N Sugarstarr, working with house music’s number one vocalist Errol Reid, UK based producer Kid Massive, and remixing for Sean-Paul, Flo-Rida, Olav Basoski, Tv-Rock, Stonebridge, Sgt Slick, Ron Carrol, OT Quartet and many others.
Releasing on labels as Neon/Big Beat, Greatstuff, Stoneyboy, Tactical, Spinnin', Abzolut records, Get Down, Be Yourself, Dirty Harry, Umek’s 1605, the legendary Strickly Rhythm, Champion Records, Hed Kandi and so on.
